Specle is pleased to announce an expansion in its management team with the appointment of Simon Murray as CEO.
Simon, who co-founded Omega Logic and successful business angel will focus on building the commercial competencies to support the launch of new services for existing and new publishers, agencies and direct to brands alike. He will also concentrate on promoting its products and services into the market place and continue to refine the best proposition for their agencies, publishers and brands.
Founder Tom Beckenham will continue in the CTO role using his expertise to develop the technology further, ensuring its robustness and scalability. As well as assess, investigate and launch new services, this renewed focus will enable Tom to create a state-of-the-art service that is both polished and professional in its delivery.
New technologies are an important part of our future and will make up part of Specle's long term expansion plan to support the fast emerging digital publishing areas.
WOW, things at Specle must be REALLY hotting up to bring in a heavyweight CEO like Simon; exciting times for you guys!
Tom: you've achieved what most said couldn't. I remember when Mac OS X came out and it took over 10 years for the industry to consider the move from OS 9, yet you've digitised, catalogued, organised and amalgamated ad specs from every publisher worth mentioning in one slick website despite the dinosaur-mentally. My hat off to you Sir!
My very best regards to you Tom. Simon: you've got some big shoes to fill, I can't wait to see what happens over the next 12 months.
God Bless,
Glen.
